Personal, practical 50-minute lessons, one-to-one and online. We work on everyday situations, pronunciation, confidence, word connections and etymology, and enjoyable immersion through music, films, and expressions. Eventually the video call will run through Google Meet; the camera is optional.

I teach Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I can explain a lesson in another supported language you already speak. Portuguese has European and Brazilian variants; they are variants of one language, not separate teaching languages.

It’s a free 15-minute video call on Google Meet. You book it yourself in my calendar, either before buying or right after. We talk about your goals, check your level and plan your first lesson. The camera is optional.

You fill in a short form and pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page. You then land on a thank-you page where you book your free intro call. Stripe emails your receipt, and I email your Portuguese invoice within two working days.

Yes. Rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and no-shows consume one lesson. If I cancel, your lesson is not consumed, and tutor unavailability extends package validity.

A cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a no-show, uses one lesson. If you’re late, we use the time that is left and the lesson still ends on time. If I can’t offer you at least one lesson time a week within my normal hours, unused lessons are refunded.

Homework is optional and costs €10 per lesson. It is tailored exercises reviewed together during lessons. It is chosen for the entire package at checkout and cannot be switched on or off halfway through.

Not as a specialist service, and I do not guarantee exam results. If an exam is your immediate goal, you can still tell me in the intake. We will set expectations honestly, and I may recommend a dedicated exam tutor if that is the better fit.

Yes. Absolute beginner is a level choice in the intake. If you are unsure where you sit, choose “Not sure” and we will work it out without a formal test.

Choose “Not sure” in the intake. The level options include plain-language descriptions for absolute beginner and A1–C2, and the introductory call is a chance to check what will be a useful starting point.

I teach adults aged 18 and over. Nationality never matters, but I don’t teach children or teenagers.

You can buy a single lesson, a five-lesson package, or a ten-lesson package. Packages are one-off by default. Recurring arrangements can be discussed personally; they do not carry an additional discount.

You have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. If you asked for lessons to start during those 14 days, you pay only for the lessons you’ve had, at your package’s per-lesson price, and get the rest back. After 14 days there are no refunds for a change of mind, but unused lessons are refunded if I can’t provide them. The withdrawal page explains it all.

A stable internet connection, a device with a microphone, and a fairly quiet space. Lessons run on Google Meet in your browser, so there’s nothing to install. Video is optional.
