English for Dutch speakers

Dutch professionals often arrive with strong English and a very specific frustration: the words are there, but the meeting, interview, or presentation does not feel natural. We work on the English you need to be yourself under pressure.

From €25 per lesson with the ten-lesson package (€250 prepaid).

The situations we build around

  • Meetings, presentations, interviews, client calls, and everyday workplace small talk.
  • Pronunciation, rhythm, and clear sentence stress for being understood the first time.
  • Natural phrasing and the confidence to contribute without scripting every sentence.

For Dutch-speaking professionals

We can work from your real meetings and messages, not a generic business-English syllabus. If your English is already high, the lesson becomes an editing and practice space: fewer rules, more precise choices, and more time speaking.

The bridge: similar languages, different workplace habits

Dutch and English share Germanic roots and a lot of business vocabulary borrowed from English. That makes understanding easy. It also creates habits that sound a little off in English: word order, rhythm, directness, and the small phrases that soften or connect a point. We keep the directness that is useful and tune the English around it.

house/huis

A familiar Germanic pair that reminds you how close the two languages are.

actually/actueel

Not the same meaning: “actually” is not Dutch “actueel” (current). A useful false friend.
